Is Coffee a Helpful Start to your Day?

Many people find that starting your morning is drinking coffee to feel caffeinated and ready to go. I enjoy having coffee from time to time throughout my week, and especially waking up early helps me feel awake/energized. Although having coffee as your energy source is not always the greatest for you depending on your diet. I try not to spend a lot of money on food when I’m out and about. I try to limit myself so I don’t spend too much money throughout the week. It is fun to try different flavors of drinks or different coffee shops. I do find that it makes me feel good to start my day or to visit different cafes in other areas as well. There are many different options available and other milk options to those who are lactose intolerant. I think many people like having coffee especially for school or work to feel ready for the day ahead of them. Coffee has shown to improve your mood and have a lower risk of depression. You should only drink about a cup a day for a healthy caffeine daily balance. It is a fun activity to do with a group of friends or enjoying it on the go. I’m always interested to see what different coffee shops offer as well. There are hundreds of different drinks to try or alter, and there are choices for everyone to try. The healthiest coffee is black coffee, although a boring flavor, it can be good for the heart and your health. I think it’s beneficial to those who have a hard time waking up or starting their day feeling stressed. I find it to be fun to try out different cafes when traveling. Every place has their own uniqueness to it, and it’s a fun way to try something you’ve never had before. For instance, I’ve tried the same order I normally get in Minneapolis and in Denver, and they were both so different and amazing. It could just be different ingredients, but it’s interesting to try different places.
On the other hand, drinking too much coffee daily can cause jitteriness and bad sleep patterns. This depends on how much you are drinking or consuming other caffeinated drinks in the same day. After six hours the caffeine you drink is still in your body and in your bloodstream after ten hours. It can cause anxiety or fast paced heart racing. For example, a famous actor Pedro Pascal was seen drinking a Starbucks order with six shots of espresso. This is the highest amount of caffeine you should consume in a day. If continued or added more this could lead to serious health risks or issues. If people are going out every morning for a week spending on average seven dollars a drink for seven days, that’s about fifty dollars. Another way to reduce spending is buying the ingredients needed for a simple coffee to make at home. I’ve done this recently and it makes it easier for me to leave on time without having to leave earlier to stop and get coffee. You can choose almost any flavors grocery stores offer, and you can make your own unique drink. I try to do this to help me from spending more than I would prefer on a weekly basis. Make it almost a sweet treat to go out and get something special for you. There are people consuming too much sugar or caffeine which can lead to you feeling worse than better. Seeing videos of peoples orders showing how much extra sugars, syrups or espresso shots added can be a serious threat to your health. You may not see signs immediately but over time you’ll see yourself declining, and making your future self worse.
Those who face ADHD can benefit from some coffee because it increases dopamine levels in your brain. This can calm you down rather than feeling jittery. It can also improve focus and feel more relaxed. People with ADHD find it harder to focus on one thing at a time, and this could potentially be a helpful tool. Coffee also helps your liver and reduces your risk for Parkinson's disease. There’s always going to be a good and bad side to things. In the end, it is always your choice to do what you please with your body, just make sure you listen to your body and do what makes you feel happy. No one should make you feel bad for getting something you're happy about. Always put yourself first and listen to your gut. Don’t feel bad about something that is going to make your day a thousand times better. Go enjoy your morning, feel good about yourself and put yourself in a good mindset.
